Organic Kohlrabi (pound)
We grow kohlrabi because it is such a versatile vegetable. It can be substituted for potato, which has nearly double the calories, and in the same ways: mashed fries, soups, fritters, roasted, steamed, chips.
Can also be eaten raw: in dipping sticks like jicama or cut into green salad or slaw.
To prepare, cut off the outside skin. High in antioxidants; a low glycemic food.
